After the events of several hours ago, I got to thinking about a lot of things...
I started reating Oppo several years ago. Sure, things were different back then as compared to now. Not all of it is bad, though. There are a diverse group of individuals who post on here and there has been an outpouring of support by many of you. I think that is absolutely great. Of course, there has been plenty of negatives over the years as well. I remember not long ago when people were ‘rage quitting’ left and right. It wasn’t a good time, but everybody eventually seemed to move on from it.
I think what we all need to realize, though, is that we are but a small fraction of the population. We also only have one shot at our time here on Earth. People are going to say what they want, you can take it how you will.
I’m not saying all this for brownie points or to call anybody out. I wanted to say it because we all need to realize our time here is very finite and you should make the most of it. Sometimes we get so caught up in internet life that we miss real life.
I know this probably doesn’t matter to some of you, but maybe some will at least take a step back and ponder on it. Oppo has been a great community and still is in my opinion. Some may not agree with things that have happened and some may not care enough to worry about it. There’s also plenty of others who are new to here who don’t even know about how Oppo used to be. People will come and go, that’s just part of it.
In short, life is what you make of it. You never know when it will be your time, so enjoy it while it lasts.
